Our SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) certified toxicology laboratory delivers the services and consultation you need to implement and maintain a trouble-free Drug Free Workplace program. Our commitment to a drug free workplace begins with our company policies against substance abuse in the workplace. Each new candidate for hire is informed of our Drug Free Workplace Policy and submits to a urine drug screen before being accepted for employment. All employees are subject to a periodic random drug screening. To enhance substance abuse awareness and prevention, we conduct monthly supervisor training and include drug awareness information in our employee newsletter. Training and educational materials are readily available from your local Chamber of Commerce or from the SAMHSA web-site at www.samhsa.gov.
SAMHSA semi-annually inspects and licenses DLI to perform drug testing for federally regulated programs such as DOT. SAMHSA licensure is required by most certified Drug Free Workplace programs.
